About Nathalie Bienfait

I moved to London in my early 20s and have fallen in love with Bow and the whole of Tower Hamlets.
I grew up in rural Kent and then studied International Law in the Netherlands. I returned to the UK and have lived in east London ever since. I am currently studying for Masters degree in Environment & Sustainability and work in a picture framing shop on Roman Road.
Since becoming the Green Party’s first Councillor in Tower Hamlets (Bow West ward), my main focus has been working for my residents to help them access council services. I’ve also been forming a network of environmental and social justice organisations across the borough to ensure residents’ voices are included more in local democracy.
To wind down, I’m a keen gardener and am often found in the Mile End Community Garden tending to our veg plants.
